IR On/Off control for PC

I just purchased on of these:

SIMEREC Universal IR Remote Control PC Power Switch

I can't wait to try it out when I get it. I'll let all know how it works when I am done.

Re: IR On/Off control for PC

I bought one awhile back but the kit not the prebuilt one. I assembled it and installed it and it works great.

Re: IR On/Off control for PC

Well the SIMEREC is used for systems that can't power on via USB. I have a ZOTAC motherboard that doesn't power the USB while in Sleep mode so I can't wake it up. I bought the SIMEREC so I could do that.
