Firefly Remote in Vista SP1

I had installed the Firefly remote and application in Vista using the way described in the knowledge base, and it worked fine. However, my system updated to Vista (32 bit) Service Pack 1 last week, and ever since, the Firefly application crashes when the PC boots up and although I tried reinstalling it, the same thing happens each time I boot the system.

End result is that the remote isn't working.

Anyone else have the issue in Vista SP1?

Very odd. While I've never tried the FireFly with Vista SP1, I have it working with Windows 7. It required using the Vista method to install.

You say you reinstalled the FireFly software. Did you uninstall it first, or just install over it? I suggest trying to uninstall first.

I think I just reinstalled it on top of the old application. Good idea - I will uninstall and then try again!
