Post your new profiles to this thread that you want to share/add to Firefly

Please post your profiles to this thread (either in text, or as an attachment) if you want to share them with other users or you want them to be incorporated into the Firefly product. This is also a good place to ask Profile related questions.

Re: Post your new profiles to this thread that you want to share/add to Firefly

Hello

I am working on a modified version of the WInTV profile, if anyone wants to try it out.
I have added pause and record functions, forward and backward skip.
It is still a work in progress, I will post the full changes when I am satisfied with it.

JG

PS I encourage others to share their profiles.

Here's mine for nVidia's nStant Media, the mini HTPC app which comes bundled with the nVidia DVD Decoder. This profile was designed to work with version 1.0.0.67.

I hope someone finds this useful.

Re: Post your new profiles to this thread that you want to share/add to Firefly

Here's my modified WinAmp profile, designed to work only with WinAmp 5.x. Actually, it's three profiles- one for each of the Main, Playlist Editor, and Visualization (AVS) windows. It would be great to also control the Media Library, but it doesn't behave very well for this kind of interaction.
The listing of button assignments is included in a text file.

If you have any problems with it or suggestions for improvements, let me know. -Sam

Re: Post your new profiles to this thread that you want to share/add to Firefly

Here are some profiles that I made for Media Player Classic that are designed for watching movies (or any types of videos). There is one profile for DVDs and another for everything else. To use these, you would probably need to remove the existing MPC profile that ships with the FireFly.

One interesting features of these profiles is that they use MPC's VirtKey IDs for fine grain control of the application.

These profiles also make use of the A, B, C and D keys for non-essential stuff. If you're using those keys in your Global profile then you might want to edit the ABCD section out of these profiles.

Re: Post your new profiles to this thread that you want to share/add to Firefly

Since I found some useful things about FireFly profiles here and people have requested anything new, I figured I would post a useful profile I created for SlingPlayer (very basic). This is for a SlingBox controlling a Scientific Atlanta DVR box and does not include all buttons since the remote interface in SlingPlayer unfortunately does not have hot keys defined for all useful functions (most notably the LIST, A, B, C and EXIT buttons which are very useful for the DVR). I have asked the SlingMedia support people for additional key support in a future version.

Re: Post your new profiles to this thread that you want to share/add to Firefly

Here's an updated version of my Media Player Classic ForMovies profiles for the new 6.4.8.8 version. Gabest changed the VirtKeys around so the profiles needed some alterations.

I've also made some functionality changes to both the DVD and file player profiles. The goal was to make the profiles as similar as possible but they've also diverged some as well.

WinTV2000 profile

Here is my profile for WinTV2000-Hauppauge working with HVR-1300 TV-card.

Pause and record is not working in maximized mode, if anybody can solve this please mail that to me. You must use all four .xml files in the zipfolder otherwise WinTV wont work as it should. Enyoy, Kent

WinDVD 7

It seems I can't upload a file that I've uploaded to another thread.

To use Firefly with WinDVD 7, view the following link and download the file from it.

firefly and windvd 7
