ATI Multimedia Center TV profile

Here is a profile I made for the ATI Multimedia Center Analog TV...I made this for use with my HDTV Wonder card.

NOTE: Manual entry of the ATI Multimedia Center into the Global.xml for mapping it to the TV button may be necessary:

<Actions Button="TV" Description="ATI TV">
<LaunchAction ActivationState="Down" Program="C:\Program Files\ATI Multimedia\main\atimmc.exe" Arguments="/TV+" Description="ATI TV" />
<PlaySoundAction ActivationState="Down" Sound="Select" />
<SleepAction Sleep="10000" />
<SwitchAppAction ClassName="AfxWnd70" WindowText="TV" FileName="C:\Program Files\ATI Multimedia\main\atimmc.exe" Executable="C:\Program Files\ATI Multimedia\main\atimmc.exe" State="RESTORE" IfAlreadyShowing="RESTORE" />
</Actions>

File Type: xml ATIMMC-TV.xml (5.4 KB, 348 views)

J.River 11 with zone playback support

This is pretty much the profile already posted for J. River 11 with some additions. I tried to make it pretty "Theater-Mode-Centric" and "Audio-Centric" (I only use it for audio). Here are the changes:

Numbers 1-9 switch to the selected zone - 1 (1 goes to zone 0, 2 goes to zone 1 etc... It's a WAF thing...).

Number 0 toggles through the zones one at a time (incase you don't remember the number of the 'bedroom' zone or whatever).

Channel Up and Down are next and previous track.

Info = Now Playing screen (Theater Mode)

Help = System Info

Options = Playback options

Menu = Main Menu (Theater Mode)

Exit = Main Menu (Theater Mode) (yep redundant. Change it if ya want).

A = Shuffle

B = Continuous

C = Standard View

D = Theater View

That's pretty much it. Questions or comments are welcome.

The FF software comes with a profile called "WMP-Microsoft-9.xml". Does it not work? Perhaps you should start another thread?

Re: Post your new profiles to this thread that you want to share/add to Firefly

Here's a profile for SK Jukebox, a little known, but very good jukebox software.

Also, an Icon for the Blue Wave theme.

0-9 and BACK/ENTER = Choose Albums/Songs
Left/Right = Browse Albums
Up/Down = Skip Up/Down Albums by letter
Play and Pause = Play/Pause
Record = Random On/Off
FF/REWIND = FF/Rewind
Skip Fwd = Skip Forward
Skip Back = Nothing - SK Jukebox doesn't keep track of previously played songs
Stop = Clears playlist

To add SK Jukebox to the menu, follow this link here

The icon goes into C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SnapStream\Beyond Media\Shortcuts\IconCache

The filename for the icon must be the same as the filename for the application shortcut (ie. SK Jukebox, Jukebox, Music, etc)

Here's my modified Zoomplayer profile. I didn't like the way the default profile was set up.

A profile I made for Winfast PVR, th software shipped with the Winfast TV 2000 XP Deluxe and other tv tuner cards that were very very popular a couple years ago.

This includes pretty much all controls you would need, even timeshifting control.

Based on Mark's profile (thanks, Mark!) I whipped one up for my SlingBox controlling a TiVo.

Other than the obvious, the TiVo remote has the following keys, which I've mapped as indicated:

TiVo - Menu
LiveTV - Exit
Info - Info
Guide - Option
Instant Replay - Prev
Quick Skip - Next
Clear - D

(and I mapped "Help" to SlingPlayer's "Show Remote")

Enjoy!

Re: Post your new profiles to this thread that you want to share/add to Firefly

This is a fix for BSplayer - the included profile does not recognize most versions of bsplayer. For me when I tried to control BSplayer it would use the Hero Player profile instead and nothing worked.

All I did here was edit the information to let the remote recognize that it was controlling bsplayer. You may need to also delete the Hero .xml profile if there are still issues.

Re: Post your new profiles to this thread that you want to share/add to Firefly

This is a Firefly profile for TVedia4.

There is an error in the default TVedia keyboard map which means the volume shortcut keys will not work.

You will need to edit the TVEdia keyboard.xml file and locate the following two lines:

<key name="VK_PRIOR" type="vk" mapto="Vol+" state="alt"/>
<key name="VK_NEXT" type="vk" mapto="Vol-" state="alt"/>

and edit the "alt" at the end to be "ctrl" - this is due to alt-PgDn/PgUp already being allocted to another function.

Re: Post your new profiles to this thread that you want to share/add to Firefly

This is a profile I created for Audiosoft's eJukebox which can be found at http://audiosoft.net/home.php?affid=6. This is a really spectacular digital jukebox application that lets you browse by album art and has many other innovative and unique features. This program is also supported by a very active community and developer. Let me know if there is anything wrong with the profile. Enjoy!

Here is my FireFox 2.0 profile. This is only useful for browsing and manipulating already opened tabs. You can scroll around in windows/tabs but there are no functions to open links or type text with this profile.

Re: Post your new profiles to this thread that you want to share/add to Firefly

Here is my version of Windows Media Player 11. It has corrected Volume up/down.

It goes in : C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SnapStream\Firefly\Profiles

Don't forget to restart Firefly to activate changes!

Enjoy,

Re: WiMP 11 profile

Thank you for offering up your WiMP 11 profile.
I placed that file in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SnapStream\Firefly\Profiles\ as directed, and it does indeed allow the FireFly remote to work WiMP 11 directly.
Unfortunately, when BeyondMedia Basic is launched to view a video file, it still exhibits the same problems which others have pointed out (e.g. MUTE is volume down, both volume down and volume up are volume up, nothing is pause...).
What do we do to inform BeyondMedia Basic that WiMP 11 has been loaded, and to apply the same key codes as this WMP-Microsoft-11.xml file does for WiMP 11 when WiMP 11 is run directly?
Thanks!
-Jay
