does the firefly store commands at the usb device?

I am working with linux.

I am having a problem resuming from suspend.

I go into suspend and then wake up by S3, when pressing the close button on my remote.

After I reinitialize the device after suspend, initialize the translation daemon (LIRC), then I initialize the program which connects to LIRC, XBMC, it sends the close command which puts the computer back into suspend.

I need to figure out where this close command is being stored.

Re: does the firefly store commands at the usb device?

Code:
sudo rmmod lirc_atiusb
sudo modprobe lirc_atiusb
sudo /etc/init.d/lirc restart
irw & sleep 10; killall irw
sudo curl "http://127.0.0.1:8080/xbmcCmds/xbmcHttp?command=ExecBuiltIn&parameter=LIRC.Start"

Re: does the firefly store commands at the usb device?

It sounds like improperly configured remote.

check out this wiki that I wrote.
Snapstream Firefly - XBMC

I update constantly now, so I keep a copy of my /etc/lirc folder on my desktop and when I upgrade, i just copy it over and reboot.
