Will Media Center Remote wrk like FireFly?

Can you program a media center remote to work like the firefly? Will it work with beyond media?

I don't like the FireFly, bad reception, and yes i tryed moving it.

no, no it won't. and moving it is not the only answer. Move it high and away, spend a few bucks on an extention usb cable for starters. if that don't work search the forum for some of my other posts. I'm sick of hearing about range issues, it's not even funny anymore.
