Re: Firefly remote stopped working

II installed the ATI Wonder 650 Tuner today. That installation was easy but then the Firefly remote stopped working after the install. It exhibited the same symptoms mentioned in previous posts. I uninstalled both the ATI Remote Wonder program ATI installed with the tuner and the Firefly application. Then I rebooted and installed the most up to date Firefly software which I downloaded from snapstream.com. Everything worked fine after the reinstallation!

Hope this helps someone.

Thomas

Re: Firefly remote stopped working

My original Firefly remote quit on about day 4. Tech support had me go thru a series of steps, most of which I had tried already (batteries, reinstall etc) then declared it dead. They sent me a new one once they received the original although they did not ask for the original packaging.

Remote 2 has worked fine.

Check this and see if that's the problem. Or if the x10nets.dll is corrupt.

This also fixed my problem. I just reenabled it, then re-ran the setup wizard.

Re: Firefly remote stopped working

I fried my receiver when I got up off the couch and touched the antenna. Zzzzzaaaaaaaapppppppp. Static shocked it, and it no longer responds. Must have blown out the antenna circuit, because it still registers in Windows, just won't receive anything. This is another possibility.
