Is my firefly dead?

Came home tonight and firefly is/isnt working. The only buttons that make the little red light light up and that do something are maximize, close, the media buttons(music, dvd,tv,ect) and the mouse on/off. All other buttons do nothing. I tried new batteries, same things. Is there a way to reset it. I checked beyond media settings for firefly and its set to all channels.

Uh dumn question. Have you rebooted the PC? It's amazing how many times that will fix weird problems.

Re: Is my firefly dead?

Instead of doing a complete unistall reinstall next time try just pulling the usb device out of your computer and plugging it back in. You might also have to restart the firefly program. This works for me anyway.

Re: Is my firefly dead?

I just had the same thing happen to me. I was trying to change the channel and it just died, totally stopped responding. I unplugged the usb device and plugged it back in. Didn't work. I then re-installed version 1.2 and nothing.
