Everything works except the Firefly button

I have installed the Firefly remote and am happy to report that I can control BTV just fine, assuming I first launch BTV. There is only one button on the entire remote which does not operate properly, and that is the big Firefly button.

When I press the Firefly button, I see a launch screen flash momentarily. It flashes long enough for me to see that it has buttons to select other actions, but then the screen disappears within a fraction of a second. This happens regardless of when or where I press the button.

Any suggestions? I can certainly live without this capability, but it's annoying that everything else works so well yet the button to start it all does not. Thanks in advance.

Re: Everything works except the Firefly button

Interesting.... What happens if you double click the firefly icon in the task bar?

Re: Everything works except the Firefly button

I thought the Firefly button started Beyond Media, either basic or Version 1. Is this installed as well as BTV.

Does the TV button launch BTV?

Jon.

Re: Everything works except the Firefly button

I am having the same issue. Firefly button brings up the beyond media screen for a flash then it's gone. If I press the firefly button over and over eventually the beyond media screen will remain on screen. Seems like a double fire. Something similar happens with my "ok" button on the beyond media screen. If I hit ok to select an option it will hop back and forth between menus a few times (since back is the first option highlighted on the new menu it still seems like a double/tripple fire). I haven't been able to find any good information on this, anyone have any ideas?

Re: Everything works except the Firefly button

I never figured out the exact cause of my problem, but after a re-boot, re-install, and re-boot, it did start working again for me. Sorry I'm not any more of a help.
