Firefly and Meedio

I read somewhere that to use the firefly remote to control meedio it is necessary running always beyond media software. Is It true?

Thank you for your answer, depending on it I will decide if buy Firefly remote or not.

Ciao, Criscolo

Re: Firefly and Meedio

Yes because the beyond media basic software has a dual purpose. 1 is to offer a basic front end to control your applications, 2) is to receive and interpret the button presses on the firefly remote.

So yes, it needs to be running (at least in the background) in order for the remote to work.
