SnapSTream Supported Hardware

Hello,

Just read in www.tomshardware.com about the awe inspiring Asus-V7700 Deluxe w/TV. Any plans on supporting this line of incredible hardware with SnapStream?

Thanks!

We plan to support as many cards as we can, so that's a yes! In terms of how quickly we can get support in, that's a matter of how quickly we can get the manufacturer to respond to us. If you want to speed up the process, you can always try to talk to the maker of your card and see if you can convince them to contact us with developer information.

Wizard: We have contacted ASUS several times and we haven't gotten through just yet. If you send me an e-mail, I can reply with the specific person you should contact at ASUS to help us get developer support. This will be of great use to us.

How about the new ATI ALL IN WONDER RADEON, will you support it or is it supported already?

I'd love to see support for the TV-Box from Asus.

I gave up waiting for Asus support, and just bought the Radeon. I see snapstream is charging a ridiculous fee for the service? What's up with that??

we aren't offering any sort of a service at the moment...

so if anyone is trying to charge you a fee for a SnapStream service, don't pay it! especially not if it is ridiculous.

I've had an ongoing conversation with a ASUS V7700 Deluxe w/ TV user and it seems that this card's TV viewing software has some proprietary interface to the ASUS TV tuner/video capture hardware -- ie it's not WDM or VFW.

This particular user's system didn't register and WDM or VFW drivers with their ASUS card... can anyone else confirm this?
