Re: BTV Media Edit

I believe I have found the problem that caused all movies to be displayed as "Movies". A new release has been posted.

daxter --
Please let me know if this fixes the issue. Thanks!

Re: BTV Media Edit

Is there a command line version of this program? I'd like to put it into a post processing job or create my own batch file to be handled manually. This would be real cool and I could just run it on every recording.
thanks

The only problem I see with that would be mapping the parsed name to a series/ID (which is the function of the series map in the GUI). Any ideas on how this could be handled?

Re: BTV Media Edit

Am having trouble figuring out how to add an unknown series manually to the Series Map. I can edit an existing show, but that doesn't update the Parsed Name field.
I get no errors, and no mention that the series is being skipped, or not found if I try the scan button.
The log says:

04/10/2009 13:28:01: ?? Unable to process then path to file

(Am running the latest version)

The Series Map maps a name parsed from the file name to a series name and a series ID. The file name is assumed to start with the series name and include either season/episode information or a date (supported season/episode/date formats are S01E01, 1x01, 2001.01.13, 01.13.2001). There is no way to add a a series to the map manually. You cannot change the parsed name, only the series name (which is what is actually put into BTVs database). What is the name of the file that is not being processed?

Re: BTV Media Edit

Silly me - the reason it couldn't parse was because the file name had the wrong format - the episodes were 101, 102, 103 etc.
Once I corrected that to 1x01 etc it was able to see the series.

Thank you!

Re: BTV Media Edit

How do you deal with tagging specials such as
Grey's Anatomy: Season 3 Episode List
Grey's Anatomy: Complications of the Heart

Grey's Anatomy Season 3 special, there are two. What is the file naming convention?

Re: BTV Media Edit

Also, what field would I have to clear in order for BTV Media Edit to recognize the show as an Unknown Series?
