Cannot logon to the web service

Hi,
I started out trying the Getting Started with the BTV framework. I can get to the logon screen (I am using BTV 4.6.1). From what I read, I do not need to enter a license key and I have not set a password.

So I go to the URL http://127.0.0.1:8129/wsdl/BTVLicens....asmx?op=Logon and it shows like it is supposed to. When I click invoke (either with a license key or without), I get this:
"System.Exception: BTV Link cannot connect to an expired trial server.
at SnapStream.BeyondTV.WebServices.BTVLicenseManager. LogonHelper(String networkLicense, String password, Boolean allowLocal)
at SnapStream.BeyondTV.WebServices.BTVLicenseManager. Logon(String networkLicense, String password)"

I have a valid copy of BTV and have been running it for a while with no problems. I am using Vista Business.

Can any one tell me how to fix this issue? I searched the forums, but did not find anything like what I am seeing.

Edit: I am using IE7. I have tried FireFox and got the same thing. I even tried running IE 7 as administrator, no luck.

are you trying to get to the Web Admin?

If you are developing in C#, you could use DaWanderer's Beyond TV Library (link in my signature and details on the SnapStream's wiki), which hides all the messy bits...

I saw that library. But I saw that it was for version 4.3 and I'm at 4.6.1. Also, I wanted to learn how use the API.
If I don't get the issue resolved, I may have to go that route.

There hasn't been much change since then...

The library makes it so that you can use directly the API calls mentioned at:

I noticed today that in the left top corner of my BTV window, it said "EXPIRED"! So, I uninstalled and reinstalled BTV. I can now perform the logon function as stated in the original problem. I do not know what may have caused it to do what it did. Any ideas?

I am also trying out the recommended library. It makes things pretty easy. Thanks for the recommendation.
