BTV Settings Path

Hey,

I have some XML files I need to save but can't seem to figure out where the BTV settings files are stored?

What's the method or property I'd use to get this?

Mutli-user in the WebUI is almost done!

Thanks!
Brad

Try here:

\documents and settings\all users\application data\snapstream\beyond tv\

Hey,

I know *what* it is, but I want to know how to programatically figure that out, or should I just *shudder* hardcode it?

Thanks!
Brad

I Think I get what you mean.... you want to make sure that no matter how it's installed -- by OS -- the file location can get polled -- and used...? as it can differ with the OS and whatnot... correct?

Bingo.

I was thinking BTVSettingsPropertyNames would have it, but it only has the BufferPath.

If there's no such field, then I'll just save it in the Buffer Path I guess.

Thanks!

Re: BTV Settings Path

Basically, you should query out the common application data directory from the system and append the rest of our directory structure to it. That should always be the correct directory.
