Bugs/Features

Problem 1 - With padding going the first to start recording gets the full padding, then the second recording gets cut by the amount of the padding regardless of recording priorities. Suggested fixes are put priorities into the padding so that the top priority show gets the full padding and others do not. As an alternative, if two shows are set to record one after the other, when the switch occurs it should be exactly on the hour so neither should be padded at the junction. Conflicts should also show this possibility and allow the user to decide which show if any should have padding.

Problem 2 - any application dealing with video will stop btv from starting a recording. An indication may come up but it is not persistant and will not come to the front and require user input and there is no unique sound associated with this to get user attention. Only fix I can recommend is to have the system do a check a few minutes before start of recording to see if it can start the engine and have any notices more persistant. Possibly give it the ability to close any application that is stopping the engine from starting if no user input has been detected.

problem 3 = I have BTV set to start with my computer, unfortunately it always starts the home screen. Possibly can there be an option to start in system tray?

Feature Requests -
The ability to start the computer before scheduled recordings if not off, not sure how or if this is possible.

for tv series recordings, possibly the season and episode number in the file name.

they should try to make a WOL (wake on LAN) script since most motherboards have WOL and WOR (wake on ring) support

It's already there in web admin, configure, advanced setting, miscellaneous, interface on startup.

Not entirely true. A video application in 3D mode will play just fine with BTV in 3D mode too.
Main reason I use ZoomPlayer, which can be set to 3D (VMR).
But you are correct that any app needing access to overlay will trip BTV.
