Server Error in '/' Application
Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine. Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off". This is over my head. It used to work, but probably because of recent updates I get the above consistently. Running WinXP Pro/Firefox. How do I get it back? Thanks Corren |

Re: Server Error in '/' Application
There are no steps. I open a new Tab in Firefox click on my Bookmark below and the Error appears. It just occured to me to try in in IE7 and it worked. So obviously it is a problem in Firefox (2.0.0.6) only.

I get the same error when I try to modify the visible channels and then save the settings.
My zip is 95124, and I'm viewing the over-the-air digital stations with Internet Explorer. I click "settings", toggle a couple channels off, and hit "save settings". Then I get the following error: Server Error in '/' Application. Runtime Error Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off". <!-- Web.Config Configuration File --><configuration> <system.web> <customErrors mode="Off"/> </system.web></configuration> Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL. <!-- Web.Config Configuration File --><configuration> <system.web> <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/> </system.web></configuration> |

Re: Server Error in '/' Application
The problem is in firefox and may be cleared as follows:
In firefox-- Select: tools, options, privacy, show cookies. double click: couchville.com click: remove cookies (caution: DO NOT click on "remove ALL cookies") close this window In firefox redirect the browser to " couchville.com" and do a new setup. When resetting the channel line up don't forget to click "save linup" at the bottom of that window. I dont know how log this will last, maybe only til the next cookie expires. Keep this info as it may have to be done again. Good luck--- |
