Widescreen icons updated to include the new icons introduced in the 4.8.1 Beta version.

I also corrected a couple errors with the icons for the DVD burning page and I added the HD/Recording icons for the Guide.

Is Beta 4.8.1 available? or was that a typo?

Using the public beta 4.8.1 and the updated icon set, the "HD" icon and the recording indicators (red circles) in the EPG look distorted...

I've noticed that too - however, it seems that the ViewScape renders those graphics differently depending on where you view them. If you view them in the Upcoming Episodes list, they display correctly. If you view them in the guide, they don't. If you restore the originals, the effect is reversed.

Given the fact that the ViewScape stretches images in 16:9 mode, I'm assuming that the way the guide renders them is actually a bug.

Ah ok. I can't speak for everyone but I see/use the EPG more than the Upcoming Listings, so I'd rather have them looking proper. I'll try reverting those images to the originals and see if I get the desired result.

I would argue that the stretching in the ViewScape is the real bug...

I brought that up a long time ago and they said that's actually by design. Unfortunately, the only way to fix it is to do a rewrite. Hopefully they'll consider doing that soon since the trend for TV's is going towards widescreen.

The linked zip files still work with 4.7, yes?
Will 4.7 just ignore the 4.8 icons?

jbartlett777, thanks again for the widescreen icons. I keep expecting SnapStream to do something similar with each new release but they never get around to it. So, I keep dropping yours on top of each new BTV release.

I wonder if we have yet reached critical mass where 16:9 screens outnumber 4:3 screens on BTV PC's. Pretty soon now yours should be the default and 4:3 should be the exception.
