I'm still using PostHaste to run comskip...I too am getting various crashes that popup an exception dialog overtop of BTV. Is this now very outdated, or....?? Seems this thread is no longer active. Maybe I need to get with the times and find an alternative?!!

If you're just doing a run of the mill comskip job, I recommend you either use the BTV built-in post processing (which puts the comskip window on the screen visibly) or use Dirmon2, which will hide the comskip window.
Check the link in my sig. I show how to use Dirmon2 for basic post processing in the 34th post of that thread.
