Unhappy 2GB + mpeg file but 11 and 20 seconds but should be 1 hour shows

Our BTV recorder (Windows XP SP3 with two H PVR 150s) has started to mess up recordings.

House-(97 Seconds)-2009-11-12-0 2,499,698 GB ~23 seconds in BTV
House-(Both Sides Now)-2009-11-12-0 2,495,712 GB ~11 seconds in BTV
House-(Under My Skin)-2009-11-12-0 2,379,380 GB ~30 minutes in BTV

Version of BTV 4.9.2

Web Admin duration is off the charts!

BTV is running as windows services using admin account.

Yep. That's the issue. Supposedly the problem was squashed in the PVR drivers some time ago, but I ran into an issue where all of the sudden out of the blue, I was having timestamp problems that would not go away. I ended up removing the card actually. When I upgraded to a new MB/CPU, for giggles I put the card back in, and it works fine now. I think the card was failing a little bit and/or had some incompatibility with the chipset of my MB.

the guys above pointed you in the right direction.

For your recordings that you already have, run VideoReDo and then perform a quickstreamfix on them and it should correct the timestamp.

Re: 2GB + mpeg file but 11 and 20 seconds but should be 1 hour shows

Thanks guys! I did a 3 show test, back to back on one channel, and they all appeared to record correctly.

I'll find out for sure when there are back to back "House" recordings on USA again.

I think it's time to retire my PVR150's - now I wonder what card to get. With Hauppauge's timestamp problem and the cards not working in Windows Vista/7 64bit I think I stay the hell away from them.
