Android settings for iTunes support
I did some experimenting with an Android based phone (G1) and got some excellent showsqueezing settings for automatic conversion to a format I can use for it with good performance and quality.
Here's how you do it:
Open Web interface...
Select Settings...
Advanced Settings...
Video Qualities...
Create new Quality
New Quality:
Name: Android G1
Type: H.264
Video Output
Frames per second: 29.970
Dimensions: Custom 480x320
Average Video Bitrate - 400 kilobits per second
Audio Bitrate - 128 kilobits per second
AVC Profile - Baseline
Adjust Output Resolution - Yes
Apple Device - Yes
Go to BTV and choose the Android G1 device in the Itunes Integration settings and you're done. The videos this produces run great on a G1. I imagine they run just fine on the newer (MyTouch 3G and Droid) models as well.
Enjoy!
