64 bit Windows

Given the current level of BTV development, am I correct in assuming there will not be any 64 bit support?

Re: 64 bit Windows

As it becomes harder and harder to find off-the-shelf PCs running 32-bit Windows, I think they'll have to support 64-bit at some point.

From what I can tell, it's not really a development issue, but one of testing and tech support. Plenty of folks seem to be running 32-bit BTV on 64-bit Windows just fine, but it's just that Snapstream won't support you if you have problems, and won't say officially whether it works (e.g. to a prospective customer looking at the system requirements) because it would double their testing load.

I'm not holding my breath though, but I expect to try migrating my BTV server to a new PC currently running 64-bit Vista, soon to be running 64-bit Windows 7 when Dell sends me my free upgrade. If it doesn't work out, I might either abandon BTV for Media Center, or go back to my 32-bit XP system if WMC proves insufficient for my needs.
