wait for upgrade to Beyond TV 5 or get DVD/H.264 plug-in now?
Hi, just curious if I get the DVD burning/H.264 plug-in now and then later upgrade to Beyond TV 5, if I get a discount for getting the plug-in for Beyond TV 4.9 or will I have to buy the plug-in again essentially when it's included in Beyond TV 5 as well.

Can't say for sure since BTV 5 isn't any where on the horizon (that I can see), but if I recall correctly, we'll have to pay for it one way or the other. I seem to recall talk of a 2 - tiered price. Maybe SS will weigh in on this. If not, submit a ticket.

I wouldn't plan on 5.0 coming out at least for a year. No activity on the beta front so it will be a while before they do anything. Maybe the beta's will start after W7 goes live, maybe...
