Time stamp recordings

I have been trying to find a setting which would date a recording and show that date with title. This seems to happen some times but not on a regular basis and I cannot find a setting. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: Time stamp recordings

Your file names include both the title and the date (or they should). What kind of recordings are not showing both? I'm only used to OTA, but I thought it was the same for any recording (other than an undefined source - like I do occasionally from a tape or from a DVR).

I should have clarified - the date seems to be lost when the recording gets transcribed from BTV to MP4 (for Apple tv)

Re: Time stamp recordings

So, you're editing the files in another program? If so, then all of the info would be stripped from the .tp file. Can't you just name the file the same as it was in BTV to include the information? I think this is why you're not getting responses from anyone else - not really sure of what you're doing.
