BTV LINK support of Multiple BTV Versions

Has anyone figured out a way to INSTALL the BTV Link 4.9.x on the same system that has a BTV Link 4.8.x currently installed?

BTV Link wants to UPGRADE my 4.8 to 4.9, but I need to have both levels installed concurrently. I have one 4.8.2 server on a W2K system and a 4.9.2 server on an XP system.

I don't think I'm asking too much to allow one LINK license to access two servers. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks.

Re: BTV LINK support of Multiple BTV Versions

The short answer is No.

The much longer and complex answer is, well, No.

Evidently they don't want the support headaches of supporting multiple versions.

Just share the folders on the W2K machine. Then set them up as folders on the XP machine.

Then you can always Link into the XP machine.
