Backup just the list of shows to record
Im wondering if there is a way to backup the list and details of the shows I want to record. I know you can do a full backup but what do you do for this when you upgrade beyondtv and it doesnt want to import the old save file? Also there are shows which I cannot setup cause they are out of season atm and I cannot find them when I search.

FWIW, the regular BTV backup utility would be of no use to you if you were trying to use it with a "newer" version of BTV. For example if you have version X backed up, you would not be able to use that backup with version Y. So Tscales info is best for your situation. The BTV backup can only be used to replace the same version from which it was made.

The solution to that is to do the full backup, build the new machine, reinstall the SAME version, do the restore, then UPGRADE to the latest release.
