Can one access BTV over the network?

The fact that BTV offers their Advanced Features from a control panel that uses a web browser...

Does this mean we can access that CP from another computer on the network?

Re: Can one access BTV over the network?

Yes it does

From the knowledge base

Quote:
To connect to a machine's web admin, enter its name or IP address:

http://beyondtv-dvr

http://192.168.155

If you have disabled the Web Admin redirector (see Web Server Settings), you will also need to enter the port number:

http://beyondtv-dvr:8129

Re: Can one access BTV over the network?

I tried all four of these on Mozilla from a machine on the same network but all timed out.

Any further suggestions?

Re: Can one access BTV over the network?

Did you click the links on here? These will be specific for your network. If you go to the command prompt and type in ipconfig/all it will show the IP address of that computer. (You'll need to do this on the BTV server) Then you can go to any computer on that network and just type in the number in your web browser.
