Is this a possible bug in BTV?

This is very strange. If I open BTV Viewscape, the time is exactly correct. If I enter a manual 30 minute recording... say for 12 noon it says I have a show to record at 12:00 - 12:30.

However, if I check if I have anything to record using the Advanced Settings browser version via the system tray , which is the way I need to enter my shows and other specific details, it says the recording will go off at 9:00 to 9:30!

Here's where it gets even stranger. If I check here for the recordings I did yesterday it has them listed for the correct times... even though it showed them going off 3 hours earlier yesterday.

Is this a bug? Does anyone else see this or just me?

sounds to me like a time zone bug. Report it.

Re: Is this a possible bug in BTV?

Is there some proper way to do this? I don't see a forum listing specifically for program bugs.

Have you rebooted?

I've seen this same behavior once before when the time zone was changed on the fly, and the .Net DateTime objects got confused about just what the local time zone was.

Re: Is this a possible bug in BTV?

I just rebooted like you asked.

When I went to open BTV via the videwscape icon I got a message that says my trial has expired and it closed when I clicked on "not now".

I thought I had 21 days. I installed the program this past Saturday. Did this happen because I sent in the bug report. I had to send in some data to get some kind of report #. Did this remove the trial?

I'm not done testing it yet. How can I get it back, I wonder?

Re: Is this a possible bug in BTV?

Not sure why your trial expired early, but tech support can restart it for you if you let them know.
