clear QAM Rogers Cable Canada
I am interested in upgrading my Beyond TV system to include a QAM tuner. I have looked at the Rogers Cable web site and it is not apparent if they have clear QAM digital or not. Would anyone be able to advise me? Thank you

Re : clear QAM Rogers Cable Canada
Canadian cable companies don't have to provide anything in the clear, so usually they don't... On Videotron, only the promo channels and possibly some audio ones are in the clear...

Re: clear QAM Rogers Cable Canada
Your location? It varies depending on what city/region and changes at the whim of the cableco. I have seen some reports of Rogers in the Maritimes where guys were getting almost everything in clear QAM and other areas where they go only basic SD. Some cablecos (Shaw) give you nothing. I am on Cogeco and I get all the basic SD stuff in digital and a couple of HD stations without the sound (WTF) If you neighbour orders PPV or On Demand movies and you happen to tune the channel you can watch them.
