Setting source folder in ShowSqueeze

Just got my system up and running today... 2 Hauppauge PVR-500 dual-tuner cards and the BTV trial.

If it's there I just cannot find it but how do you select the source folder for ShowSqueeze from the default recording location? Under Administration I see where I can set the destination folder to something else but not the source.

I'd like to be able to place shows in a separate folder as needed and have SQ do it's thing nightly. Not current shows but ones that have been on my system for a week or more. As I need to free up the space on my HD I will place shows in this folder for archiving.

It doesn't work that way. Shows are queued up as part of the recording process.

The only way to selectively squeeze shows is to do it by hand or to selectively set some shows up to squeeze. For example, I used to squeeze & delete my kid's cartoons but not my prime time shows.

I found the way to do it.

Right click on Advanced Settings in the system tray

Settings> Basic Settings> Create New Folder

Recorded Shows> All Shows: place a check in the box for the shows you want to access. Under More Actions, select Move

Recorded Shows> By Folder: select the new folder you just made. Place a check in the box for each show you want to compress. Select More Actions> Show Squeeze

That's it!
