Question My BTV has INSOMNIA

BTV will not enter standby (aka sleep mode), but this problem ONLY occurs when BTV is running in full screen interface.

If I exit the interface and wait, the system goes to standby as normal.

I have the bios set to S3 (STR: Suspend to ram).
Vista is set to never turn off the display and to standby after 20 minutes.

My configuration is in my signature.

Any thoughts?

Re: My BTV has INSOMNIA

It is by design that if the Viewscape is open, the PC will not enter sleep mode. See this link for a possible solution.

Re: My BTV has INSOMNIA

Beyond TV does not let the PC sleep unless you close the viewscape. I just close the viewscape interface (back to the desktop) when I'm not going to watch it for a while and it goes to sleep just fine.
