Comcast PVR-500 Channels above 99?

Is it possible for me to tune channels above 99?

Tuners can go up to 100 somethuing but usually you need a cable box for channels above that range.

Do I need special drivers or something? I only get snow.

You would need a newer capture device with a digital tuner, and your cable provider would need to have some clear QAM channels... Otherwise you need to hook up to a cable box and record its current channel.

Re: Comcast PVR-500 Channels above 99?

I suppose there would be no way to retain dual tuner capability...not without AMD fixing the ATi drivers so I could use my AIW9600 just for the cable box.

Fat chance, huh?
