Snapstream.com is GONE!?

Well, the snapstream.com is not accessable anymore, perhaps it went down with other Wallstreet firms on this black Monday? Or does it just go Blank/Black occasionally.

Re: Snapstream.com is GONE!?

Small hurricane! Well it a Cat 2 but covered a very large area. We lost power a 2:45am Saturday and are still down (I'm at work). The estimate is 5 - 7 days before power is back up in our area. So we're hunting for ice, gas and groceries. The costal region has been devistated.

Re: Snapstream.com is GONE!?

I think the "small hurricane" was a tongue-in-cheek comment. Most of us here know it was and is a very big deal for that area. SS has done a great job of keeping things going smoothly considering.

WOW, godobeHD, sure hope your post was in jest! If not, I bet I know which presidential candidate you prefer. Per Snapstream, everything's back up & hopefully will stay that way:

yes, it was..........having friends who went through katrina (though in baton rouge), we can only hope you all had minimal damage to the homes down there and 'down servers' were the worst problems you faced.

glad to see you folks coming back in houston!

Re: Snapstream.com is GONE!?

My apologies if I stirred things up. I was fairly certain the comment was tongue-in-cheek. Thus my agressive response.

I work downtown and we just walked up and down a few streets. There's damage to a lot of the buildings. Windows blown out, signage missing, trees uprooted, ets. There are few traffic lights on the groud too. The streets are clear though so traffic moves faily well except were the lights are out or flashing. Before walking into the build and I had to clean the soles of my shoes because of the embedded glass.

Cheers

Re: Snapstream.com is GONE!?

As a Florida boy who has gone through MANY hurricanes including Andrew while I was in South Florida and FOUR hurricanes in a row in 2004 here in Central Florida (resulting in $30,000 damage to my house) I can empathize with those of you in the Houston area. Be strong....
