Just bought BTV, can't get Guide data

Hi there,

I just bought and dloaded BTV, I upgraded from an old test 4.5 install just fine. I can watch live TV fine, set up a snapstream.net account just fine...but I can't get any program data. When I go to setting from inside BTV, and click on "Download Program Guide Data," I see some red text that starts at 1%...then it says "failed" and goes to "idle."

Huh?

Can anyone help me with this please before I ask for my $70 back?

By the way, I just read this on the boards:

Try this.

1) Exit Beyond TV.

2) Go to this folder: \Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SnapStream\Beyond TV

3) Create a backup folder, and *move* these files into the backup folder:

baseLineups.xml
GuideUpdateProps.xml
GuideUpdaterService.xml
UnifiedChannels.xml
userLineups.xml
guide.db
guide_variable.db

4) Restart Beyond TV.

5) In ViewScape, Go to Settings --> Snapstream.Net Settings --> Download SnapStream.Net Program Data

6) Watch status (in red) at bottom of ViewScape as it downloads and processes data.

7) Check the Program Guide when "Idle" is displayed.

It starts at 1% then says initializing in red then again, failed and back to Idle in red.

if it's failing under 5% then it is most likely an issue locally
