New Question!

last week i was trying to keep my cable box (explorer 2200 from scientific atlanta) AND use the new DVR card (ATI TV Wonder Elite 550 pci tuner card) i have installed in my computer. After browsing countless forums have decided i need an IR blaster.... Now i need to know which one to buy. Unfortunately my cable provider is absolutely useless in the way of tech support, so i usually end up teaching them more than i learn every time i call . If anyone can help it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Re: New Question!

Check out the Snapstream store. They have a USB IR blaster that is widely used. Not sure if they have the codes for your specific box, but it is also programmable so you could train it.

I have one, works pretty great.

Re: New Question!

Thanks for the help. I ended up ditching BeyondTV all together and am now using media center with the stock IR Blaster/Remote that came with a friend's computer. works perfectly!
