Recorded Shows listed by other order

I have around 200 recorded movies in my beyondtv and it is kinda aggravating that my recorded shows are only listed in order date they were recorded. when will there be an option for listing them alphabetically or by genre (comedy, drama, action, etc.)?

I've been using 4.6+ version for a year now... and in viewscape you can view by:
All
Series
Folder

And then by pressing menu you can sort by:
Date Recorded
Name
File Name
File Type
Duration
Original Air Date

Granted, it would be nice to see a Category added to that list, but that's still quite a few options.

I have folders named for categories. For example SCI-FI, Drama, Sitcom etc. When recordings are first set up I just choose which cat. to put them in.

So when I list by folder, there are all the categories. Opening that folder I can then view shows by genre. Alphabetical or original air date or date recorded. Listing by the date originally aired is especially handy when you are recording a lot of a series re-runs and want to view them in the order they aired.

i must be missing something...you say there is a button on the remote called 'menu' that lets you sort other ways! i am using a logitech harmony remote those and an iMON remote... no firefly here...is there another way to access these features?

Same key which gets you the option menu (Aspect ratio and such) during playback...

I had no idea! that is awesome...my remote isn't programed for that button and menu (looking into that) but the keyboard shortcut worked easy! I think I'll just leave it on sort by name...will it stay through a pc reboot though?
