HD-PVR, anyone got shipment notification?

Just wondering if anyone has been notified of shipments?

No, but it just hit my credit card under "pending" so today is in fact the magic day for me

I just checked my credit card and no word. But I used a credit card, not my check card, so it might not show up and until its through.

Okay. Looks like the actual shipment date will be tomorrow so I likely won't see this thing until early next week. Still, I'm glad to know it's shipping out tomorrow.

For those of you checking your credit card, card companies vary on showing the "pending" charges so you might not see it until sometime tomorrow even if they hit your account sometime today.

slave, let us know when you get the quantum shipment notification email. I have nothing so far, neither CC statement or email.

More folks are seeing the charge hit their CC statements today. I'm told that anyone receiving shipment of the first 500 units going out today will get an e-mail later today or this evening with the tracking number.

For those that don't get that e-mail by the end of the evening, I'm guessing they'll be in the shipment for the next 500 going out next week. FWIW, the most recent delay we've witnessed (from May 1st to now) was reportedly due to some bad power supplies. They had to wait for the replacement power supplies to be shipped to them, get them tested and then shipped out.

Since there's some that are interested in all the information they can get their hands on for this device,
I've put up a little Q&A for the HD-PVR with some stuff I've learned on the forums, from Hauppauge folks themselves and from SS and SageTV reps.

And I will pass along to everyone as soon as I get a shipment e-mail.

Re: HD-PVR, anyone got shipment notification?

Just got my tracking #. Scheduled to arrive Monday, 6/2! Order 3372x

That's with 2-day air. Now wishing I had had the sense to pay the extra bucks for overnight...

Re: HD-PVR, anyone got shipment notification?

Oh ya, that's right. It means the FedEx and UPS guys will be playing with your HD-PVR before delivering em on Monday.

Ya, I know it sucks to miss it for the weekend but it's only few more days.

Hang in there, it'll be worth it.
