Beyond TV in the UK
Hi everyone.
Just joined the community as i am researching a good media center software package for my home network. i was wondering if beyond TV and Link work in the UK on Sky+. I have 2 TV cards on my main system, wintv-PVR500-MCE and a wintv nova stick. the Nova is to pick up digital terrestial TV and the PVR500 is to pick up Sky+ on the S-Video connection. Would appreciate it if someone can tell me if beyond tv is compatable, as it is pointless downloading or purchasing if it isn't. Thanks in advance.

The s-video connexion would work, but DVB cards are not supported...

Yup it works fine.
I'm using BTV with my Sky + through a Haupage 150 through SVideo and SKY + is controlled by BTV through a USB dongle connected to the SKY+ RF2 connecter cable (check out http://www.dusky-control.com) which works a treat.
