Motorola DCT 700 Question
Verizon FIOS has now forced everyone to go all digital, no more analog signal. I got the DCT700 from them and got it all working with BTV and IR blaster etc. What I don't understand is why the DCT700 can't decode any of the HD Signals. All I can decode are the same analog channels that I had before.
Is the problem related to the DCT700, or the fact that I still have an analog tuner (ATI Radeon) in my PC? Could I get a better STB off of ebay, substitute that for the DCT700 and get the full FIOS lineup? TIA

The DCT700 is an SD only box, it will not decode HD. It only has a composite out (or coax for an old SD TV) If you want HD you will have to subscribe to their HD package and rent/buy their supported HD STB like the DCT3200 or 6200.
