Squeeze on the link machine?

Is there a way either now or in a future release to control where the squeeze happens? For instance my server is a "lowly" P4. The machine I use for home office/games etc is a Core 2 Duo. Obviously this would squeeze faster than the P4. To me it would be worth the extra link license.

I thought about another server license and sharing the drives out just for squeezing but I think you HAVE to have a tuner card in the server PC?

Re: Squeeze on the link machine?

You need a server license and you don't need a tuner in a server. Server can also act as link if you want.

You'd have to setup the squeezes manually. No simple way to automate this.
