HD vs. SD priority

Hi there!

I was wondering what the logic is with regards to shows where they are broadcast in both SD and HD?

I have 2 tuners and one is SD & the other is HD. Is there any way to make it so that if there is a TV show coming up in both HD/SD, to make it try to record in HD first if the HD tuner is available...and if not, then have it record in SD?

Thanks!

Re : HD vs. SD priority

Create the job on the HD channel, then switch it to "Record on any channel"...

I take it the "record on any channel" option is only available from the web admin interface?

No, edit an existing recording job from the Viewscape, go to the channel number and switch it...
