Ten foot interface with BTV LInk?

I'll be moving the BTV server from the theater room to the basement (a Dell that's reknown as one of the loudest boxes ever made) and had a question: Can one use the same remote that is supported by BTV server?

I plan to attach another PC to the TV in the theater and run BTV Link. Currently the ATI X-10 remote control works great on the server. Will the remote also work on BTV Link? Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Yes.

Essentially, I believe, BTV Link is equivalent to BTV Server, except for the actual recording of the shows. You can schedule recordings, but they're actually done on the server itself, just to clarify.

Actually, I'd like to know if BTV Link has special provision to use the ATI X-10 Remote, just as BTV server does.

I use the firefly, but it should work. As mentioned, BTV Link IS BTV Server without recording. In fact, you can run Server as a Link client to another server.
