Faeture Request - Playlist Option

Like most people, when I sit down to watch TV, I sit down to watch 3 or 4 shows back-to-back.
I would like to request an add-on/feature that allows me to add a show to MY queue so that when 1 show ends, the next show in the queue automatically starts without having to grab my remote and manually navigate to the next show.
Sounds simple, but extremely effective.
And how about having multiple queues for different User's in my household?
Thanks

Re: Faeture Request - Playlist Option

Hello Yotofuji,

Good idea. I think labeling or categorizing shows would be useful. So, I could label Dad's shows, Mom's shows, etc.

It's baffling that this feature does not already exist. From a coding standpoint, it should be utterly trivial. It's implemented in pretty much every other media player I'm familiar with, whether Vista/XP, Linux, or OSX based.

This can be done to an extent now. You can create video folders and have the recordings go to those video folders. From there you could restrict access to those folders in the latest version, where you could prevent your kids on a BTV Link machine from watching any recorded TV aside from what goes into the folder you designated for them.

Same could apply for you, where you put your parent's exclusive shows into a folder for them, they can see a list of those recordings.

Re: Faeture Request - Playlist Option

I am working on a feature for the community web admin to attempt to use the "Enable Play in Link" feature to do this. I am not yet sure it is feasible I am only putting together the frame work right now. Not as smooth as doing it from the 10ft interface but I have no control over that.
