Newbie - Hauppauge 1600 - record 2 at once

Despite looking at many posts, I still don't understand if I should be able to record 2 programs at once with my setup. I have analog cable with a set top box, a Hauppauge 1600, and the IR Blaster. With the NTSC coax input to the 1600, I can tune & record all channels below 100 from the analog cable coax direct. With the set top box, I use the S-video input on the 1600 and can use the IR Blaster to tune & record all channels including the digital channels above 100. I have each input (analog cable - s-video/IR Blaster) specified in BeyondTV. However, when I attempt to record 2 shows at the same time, BTV tells me that I have to cancel the other recording. Should I be able to record both? On the Hauppauge board, are there 1 or 2 hardware encoders? Is recording 2 programs simultaeously (with one 1600 card) limited to (1 NTSC coax input or 1 S-Video input) and 1 ATSC coax input? Thanks.

This is correct.

I have the same setup, and if I am reading this correctly, then I should be able to record one atsc and one ntsc at the same time. Is that right?
