Will the remote control from my WinTV HVR-1800 work on BTV?

I'm wondering about this, but since I have the MCE Kit of the WinTV HVR-1800, which includes the Vista Media Center remote, I'm wondering if there's any support for that remote for BTV/BM at all. After all, I'm quite sure that it would have XP drivers as well as Vista drivers for that. I'm using Win XP Pro, btw... Not too sure if that remote is compatible with that version of Windows.

If it is a true MCE remote than sure, not only will it work, you don't have to do anything but connect it (it basically acts like a keyboard to BTV). Any version of XP that has SP2 installed will have the drivers.

Actually, I did find out that it actually works. It was just that the IR Blaster Receiver that came with it must have gone either DOA, or XP doesn't recognize it. Luckily I found an older IR Blaster from an old WinTV-USB2 PVR, and that works, and recognized the remote. However, I don't know if the round green button on the newer remotes are compatible with BM/BTV, tho in XP... I mean, this remote was built with Vista WMC in mind, obviously...
