Unhappy Recording Library issues

My issue is i have 1 pc doing the recording and show squeeze and then i have my server moving the files (after they have been show squeezed with an automated batch job) to its much larger hard drive. After the show has been moved i either see it in my recording library just fine, or file doesn't show up, or it shows up with the file name as the name of the show and no data. to resolve the issue i just usually remove the folder and then re add it but it messes with where i left off on the file or if i have already watched it. Any ideas or help as this is frustrating. I orginally tried to have the server do everything but was unable to get that to work so this is my solution.

Re: Recording Library issues

have you tried using ShowSqueeze to copy the file to the folder and then delete the original in the recording directory?

ShowSqueeze can do this automatically after it ShowSqueezes your recording

Re: Recording Library issues

I had this problem forever. I discovered that the batch file was getting invoked before BTV was completely done with the file. I found a little program called tpause (google it) and put it as the first line of the batch file with a parameter of 120 (seconds).

This lets BTV finish and THEN it moves the file.

Fixed the problem completely.
