Lack of Official Support

I hate putting an 'official' support request here, but unfortunately, I have no other choice. Snapstream isn't responding to the ticket and won't answer the phone or e-mails I have sent.

I purchased three copies of BeyondTV and unfortunately through some way I don't know how, registered two of them to the same e-mail address. They are in different cities, so one license is totally unusable because the wrong guide data is being pulled. I just want the user account corrected on one of the licenses. How hard can this be? This process has been continuing since Jan 3rd.

Hopefully, someone at Snapstream will take pity on me and respond. The support ticket is ZQG-942388.

Thanks in advance to help me resolve this matter.

Re: Lack of Official Support

I actually was about to answer your ticket, please re-run the setup wizard on both computer and create SnapStream.Net accounts for each one.

Re: Lack of Official Support

Can someone explain to me how to do what he is asking? Am I missing something?

As I explained in the support ticket which he evidently skimmed and did not read, it never gives me a choice to create another account since the registration number is already attached to an e-mail address.

I've done it multiple times and it never gives me the option. It just returns the e-mail address already signed to the registration number. I've even uninstalled, deleted directories, and tried to clean registry entries and I never get the option.

How hard could it be if Snapstream.Net allowed you to login, show you the attached registration numbers and allow you to re-assign them to a different e-mail account. A validation e-mail could be sent to current owning e-mail account before the change would occur.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Lack of Official Support

Ah myktek.... I just tested what told jclanton to do on my system, deleting both video source and channel line up and at NO point and time did it ask for any kind of email or serial information. So I'd say that jclanton is on target; Either the information your providing is incorrect or not clear enough for multiple people to understand. While I hope that it is simply my misunderstanding, the purpose of the wizard is so any neophyte can setup beyondtv... that being said I'm willing to be a neophyte.

Re: Lack of Official Support

jclanton, I actually made a change to your account to separate the product keys and the SnapStream.Net account for both have to be created/recreated. so as of right now, there is not any SnapStream.Net accounts for either of your product keys.

ken, you don't have to delete anything during the setup wizard, I made a change on our end so that he can recreate his SnapStream.Net accounts on both so they are seperate, this wouldn't have worked for you unless I made a change to your product key also.
