Recording with BTV - Not so great

Hello there

I'm becoming ever increasingly frustrated with the recording options with BTY. But the rest of the program in bloody excellent. Love it. Doesn't crash and it "just works" which is great

However, how do I record immediately? Not in the next hour, day, week, month or year. Right now. As soon as I press the record button? There doesn't seem to be an option to do it and it's very annoying, I must say.

I would indeed consider getting this but the recording option is very annoying

You can definitely start a recording while watching Live TV, and you can start a recording with something in progress from the Guide....so not quite sure what you could be talking about. Record from a remote (I don't use Firefly) also asks if you want to record this show.

Or, if you aren't using Firefly, press the 'r' button while watching live TV.
