Snapstream Guide data down?

I installed the BeyondTV trial a few weeks ago and just recently purchased my copy. I put in the key a few days ago with no issues. LiveTV works and the internet works on this PC but the guide data keeps saying failed on the download. I'm going to try a reinstall in a bit but I'm dreading it since it took an act of congress to get the HDHomerun's lineup setup correctly on both tuners.

Re: Snapstream Guide data down?

It's working fine for me. I'd try the guide download again.

Re: Snapstream Guide data down?

please submit a ticket to tech support with your SnapStream.net account name, it may be an issue with your product key not associating with your SnapStream.net account.

A sign that it is not associated is by running the BTV setup wizard, if it asks you to create a SnapStream.net account, then it is not associated properly

Yep, I went to re-run the wizard and it asked me to make another account. I had to make another email address as my others were taken up with my two demo versions I installed last month.

Had to reconfigure all my lineup junk... but at least this time I wrote the steps down so I'll have it for the next time this happens.

On the side note...how do you increase the size of the buffer on LiveTV? The current size is very small it seems.

Re: Snapstream Guide data down?

You can adjust the buffering size in WebAdmin page.

Under Advanced Settings/Timeshifting Buffers you can change the size and number of slices
