hvr1600, vista, loses source when adding hdtv source

Hi all

I'm getting the wierdest thing in Vista. I have a sat box hooked up via svid controlled by the ir blaster, and atsc coming in through the antenna input. Everything works fine when I have just the s-video source and can change channels on the box, but as soon as I add the atsc source, the ir blaster wont work anymore, can only change the channels on the atsc. I have a removable hard drive rack in it, and when i put the xp load in, both tuners function just fine. I contacted hauppauge, and they said it should work in vista just like it does in xp, and that is as far as they can offer in support for it. Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

Bob

Please disregard my stupidity. I went back to check the forum today, and didnt see where it said to NOT post troubleshooting questions. I'll move this over to the proper area. I guess I was just so frustrated with it not working, that I had tunnel vision and didnt pay attention. Again, accept my apologies.
