Organizing Recorded Shows

I would like to include my large collections of movies and videos under "Recorded Shows", but don't want the entire list. Instead, I would like the structure of my video folders replicated under "Recorded Shows".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If you use the left/right arrows on the recorded shows page, it switches between By Series, By Folder (you have to have multiple folders defined), and All.

If you set up the top level folder (make sure that the top level folder is not the root directory) and then enable Recurse SubDirectories, it should give you access to the folders as you describe

Unless I'm missing something, that is what Recurse SubDirectories does

i use that option but all i get is all the shows in that directory scanned into one list(including the ones in lower directories)

what i thought he wanted was
directory
sub directory
show/movie

what that does to a movie three directories down is
directory
show/movie

unless they changed the functionality of it recently.

Switch to Folder view, you will be able to navigate the tree...

Been that way for at least 18 months -- when I started using it.

Recurse SubDirectories has also been there since the 3X days, but it periodically had issues.

Re: Organizing Recorded Shows

Is there a way to make the folder view sort the recordings by name? (With removing/adding again the folder).

TIA
